MVHC and Mayo-Le Sueur Donate Hundreds of Supplies to Local Schools

for portal 1.jpgMinnesota Valley Health Center and the Mayo Clinic Health System- Le Sueur Clinic donated hundred of supplies to local schools on Friday.  The school supply collection drive ran for 3 weeks, and the two organizations collected items from employees and the community.  The supplies were donated to Park Elementary, Hilltop Elementary, and St. Anne's schools.

The following items were donated: 76 notebooks, 105 pocket folders, 162 pink erasers, 4 school bags, 19 packages of loose leaf paper, 53 boxes of crayons, 46 bottles of glue, 69 glue sticks, 220 cap erasers, 25 tab dividers, 44 boxes of pencils, 6 boxes of mechanical pencils, 10 bags of pens, 24 boxes of colored pencils, 2 boxes of sharpies, 4 protractors, 16 rulers, 3 calculators, 21 boxes of markers, 24 scissors, 10 lead refills, 2 Spanish dictionaries, 1 box of Band aids, 1 watercolor, 1 package of note cards, 3 clipboards, 1 pencil sharpener, 33 highlighters, 8 book covers, 3 boxes of Ziploc bags, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 package of napkins, 20 boxes of Kleenex, 11 pencil boxes, 5 pencil pouches, and 2 cases of pink paper!
