2D and 3D Digital Mammography
Ridgeview Imaging Services in Le Sueur now offers 3D tomosynthesis mammography. 3D mammography results in higher breast cancer detection rates without increasing the radiation dose and is a valuable tool for radiologists.
When it comes to breast cancer, early detection is the best prevention. A mammogram can show tumors long before they are big enough to be felt. More importantly, a mammogram is quick, easy, and can help save your life. Our hours have been expanded to better meet the needs and schedules of today's busy women. Call 507-665-8679.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to make pictures of organs and structures inside the body. In many cases MRI gives different information about structures in the body than can be seen with an X-ray, ultrasound, or CT scan.
Through a partnership with Shared Medical Services, a new mobile MRI unit travels to Le Sueur on Wednesdays for afternoon appointments. The MRI system from GE Healthcare delivers some of the highest quality images on the market today. The advanced technology provides shorter exams and greater comfort for patients. Call 507-665-8679 for an appointment.
An echocardiogram is a painless test that uses sound waves to create pictures of your heart. This test gives your doctor information about the size and shape of your heart and shows how well your heart's chambers and valves are working. Your doctor may recommend an echocardiogram if you have signs and symptoms of heart problems. The test can be used to confirm a diagnosis, determine the status of an existing problem, or help guide treatment.
- Echocardiograms are performed every other Tuesday by appointment only.
- Testing is done in partnership with the Minneapolis Heart Institute, which is recognized internationally as one of the world's leading heart institutes.
- Results are forwarded to your primary physician.
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to make images of organs and structures inside the body. Ultrasound imaging is available on Tuesdays from 8 to 4 p.m.
